Mario Ridder made his name as a two-star chef at De Zwethheul and later earned a Michelin star with Joelia in Rotterdam. He calls Azurite his most personal project ever: ‘I want to give everything one more time. Not to impress with pomp and circumstance, but to really touch guests. What we do is create the most delicious dishes at top level with top products, including Livar meat, in the most beautiful way and with the best cuissons.’
Only the finest, highest quality ingredients make it to Azurite's kitchen, prepared as only Mario can. Each dish tells its own story. Guests can choose from an iconic wine collection of around 12,000 bottles. Gault&Millau Netherlands awarded Restaurant Azurite 'Wine List of the Year' in 2026.
