Vacancy animal keeper
We are looking for an independent zookeeper pig farmer who wants to work in the nicest company in Limburg with a cast-iron story
As an animal carer, you are responsible for looking after the pigs and weaned piglets at the Echt location and two other Livar locations in Central and North Limburg. You will also help your colleagues at the sow farm and participate in the weekend roster (once every 3/4 weeks).
This is what you will do:
- General animal care
- Checking animal health
- Feeding the Livar pigs
- Perform treatment on Livar pigs if necessary
- Fattening out the stables
- Keeping the working environment in order
- Weekend: feeding and checking sows and piglets
What do we expect from you?
- You have demonstrable work experience and affinity with pigs
- You enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- You have an affinity for technology
- You can work well independently, but also as part of a team
- You are willing to work weekend shifts once every 3 weeks
- You have driving licence B
