We cook with the understated conviction that matches the surroundings: the La Trappe Proeflokaal, on the grounds of Trappist monastery De Koningshoeven. There, among the aroma of hops, malt and the silence of the surroundings, we serve dishes in which beer and food come together to create a complete experience.

Our cuisine is firmly rooted in the Brabant soil, with the occasional worldly twist, and with a great love of simplicity, the season and provenance. Every dish we serve carries the Trappist philosophy: respect for nature, care for the community and attention to what really matters.
