We are aware that you place your trust in us. We therefore consider it our responsibility to protect your privacy. (Personal) data are therefore carefully processed and secured by us. On this page, we inform you which data we collect when you use our website, why we collect these data and how we use them to improve your user experience. So you understand exactly how we work.

This privacy policy applies to the services of Livar BV, legally falling under the entity Livar BV. You should be aware that Livar BV is not responsible for the privacy policies of other sites and sources. By using this website, you indicate your acceptance of the privacy policy.

Livar BV respects the privacy of all users of its site and ensures that the personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially.

Processing of personal data

Livar may process your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself. For example, you may provide us with your contact details if you wish to communicate with us, if you wish to receive further information about our services, if you subscribe to our newsletter, if you wish to apply for a position within our organisation or if you wish to do business with us. We then process this personal data to perform our services and/or inform you. Without these personal data, it is not possible for us to provide our services and/or inform you. We use your personal data exclusively for processing your request. The data are stored on Livar BV's own secure servers or those of a third party. We will not combine this data with other personal data in our possession.

Possibly, we could also acquire information indirectly related to you through a third party. When we do so, we will ask the relevant third party to guarantee that the information was lawfully acquired by them and that we have the right to acquire and use that information from them.

In addition, we are interested in data that says something about the use of our website, e.g. the number of visitors in a given period, which countries our visitors come from and which pages are most frequently viewed. To this end, we may register your IP address and domain name. To adapt the facilities and functions to the user's equipment, we also keep track of the type of browser you use to access our website. The information obtained is the property of Livar.

Communications

When you send e-mail or other messages to us, we may retain those messages. Sometimes we will ask you for your personal data relevant to the situation at hand. This enables us to process your questions and answer your requests. The data is stored on Livar BV's own secure servers or those of a third party. We will not combine this data with other personal data in our possession.

- act under urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of Livar users or the public.

However, the personal data you provide may in some cases be processed by third parties. For example, Livar may hire a supplier to carry out administrative and operational work to support our relationship with you. These suppliers are bound by contractual and other legal obligations to treat your personal data confidentially and to respect your privacy. They therefore only have access to the personal data they need to carry out their work. If required, we will enter into a processing agreement with this third party.

Retention of personal data

The basic principle for storing personal data is that all data should not be kept longer than necessary. Livar will therefore not keep personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data is collected. Exceptions to this are the data that we need to keep longer because the law requires us to do so.

Livar ensures appropriate organisational, technical and physical security of your personal data. Livar stores the personal data you provide on computer servers safely in a controlled, secure environment, protected against unauthorised access, use or disclosure.

Automated decision-making

Livar does not make decisions on matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals on the basis of automated processing.

Your rights

Your rights include the right to information, inspection or rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or the right to data portability.

If you wish to exercise your rights, please send an itemised request to info@livar.nl. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out the passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. Livar will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks.

Modification of privacy statement

This privacy statement is subject to change. Livar will occasionally update the privacy statement to reflect company and customer feedback. Livar encourages you to periodically review this statement to be informed of how Livar is protecting your information.
