Livar meets Slagerij van der Vooren

Slagerij van der Vooren in Leiden has been owned by the van der Vooren family since 1837. In 2025, Menno is the sixth generation van der Vooren at the helm of the butcher's shop. Menno takes you through his choice of Livar meat as the only pork concept in his butcher's shop.

Livar works with a select group of butchers who are certified as Livar Selected Specialist with Krul. The 'With Krul' predicate guarantees the quality and origin of the pork offered by the specialist. In this way, the chain is closed from farm to fork.
