Heythuysen - van Buggenum family

We are Theo and Mark van Buggenum. Together, we look after the Livar pigs on our farm in Heythuysen. We have been keeping Livar pigs since July 2014. It was a conscious choice: We wanted to move away from the cost price-driven system in regular pig farming and wanted to pay more attention to the pigs. Within the Livar concept, we can give them that attention. 

Now that the pigs can root outside, many passers-by are also interested in the pigs. We are therefore convinced that the Livar concept is the best way to keep pigs.
